Tropical Wedding at Bali Hai

I am so blessed to have met Jacqueline and Ann. The couple was planning a San Diego wedding from Los Angeles and needed a local planner to help with the details. They had done a great job of selecting vendors to create a tropical paradise for their wedding. What I love most about this couple – besides their big personalities and love of laughter – is that they were concerned not so much with the look of the wedding, but about ensuring the wedding reflected their lives and their love for each other. By incorporating their three fur babies and their love of everything Muppets, this wedding could belong to no other couple than Jax and Ann. The perfect day was captured by Boffo Video.

Navy and Coral Wedding at Tom Ham’s Lighthouse

If you want to plan a quintessential San Diego wedding and show off the beauty that is our city, selecting Tom Ham’s Lighthouse Restaurant as your venue is a fantastic choice. For Casey and Greg’s wedding, the weather was perfect, as was the view of the Bay and our skyline.

Isari Flower Studio created stunning bouquets and centerpieces to complement the navy blue and coral color theme.

The wedding party walked down the aisle to music played by Caprice Strings.

The cocktail hour decor was all San Diego featuring sea stars and porcelain urchins.

After dinner, guests were encouraged to change into San Diego-style footwear and dance the night away. The cupcake tower by Baby Cakes was a hit with wedding guests.

Fall Military Wedding at North Chapel and Admiral Kidd Club

I just loved Megan and Ben’s fairy tale love story. Megan flew across the country to meet Ben on a blind date and the rest is history. Their Fall wedding reflected the colors of the season and highlighted San Diego for their out-of-town guests. 016

The altar of the North Chapel was filled with candle light and the aisle was lined with rose petals and candles hanging from shepherd’s hooks.

191 205 The couple’s love of Fall colors was represented in the oranges, reds and yellows in the bridesmaid dresses, bouquets and centerpieces. The bride carried a gardenia bouquet that smelled heavenly and included a memory charm with her mother’s photo.

The ceremony was followed by a traditional military sword arch welcoming the bride to the military.

We were blessed with a picture-perfect evening at Admiral Kidd for an outdoor cocktail reception and dinner in the Harbor Lounge. The reception room was decorated with gold uplights, manzanita trees with yellow orchids, and floating candles.

Guests enjoyed a photo booth, delicious food, fun music and our amazing San Diego skyline view. Thank you to Brett Hickman Photographers for sharing all of these beautiful images!
